Buying and restoring

What's free? Your first 7 nights are free. After that, your check-ins, routine, wind-down, situation guides and 14-night results stay free to use.

What does the full plan add? A weekly check of your sleep hours, more steps chosen for you, a wind-down that swaps techniques if one isn't helping, and support for weeks 3 to 6. It is one payment. There is no subscription and you won't be charged again.

I bought the full plan. How do I get it back on a new phone? 1. Sign in to the same Apple or Google account you used to buy it. 2. Open Fourteen Nights. 3. On the first screen, tap Bought the full plan before? Restore it. Or go to Settings → Restore purchase.

A purchase on iPhone doesn't carry over to Android, or the other way round.

Restore says it can't find my purchase. Check you're signed in to the store account you bought it with. Then try again on a good connection. If it still doesn't work, email us with the date you bought it (not your card details).

How do I get a refund? The store handles refunds.

Your data

Where is my data? Only on your phone. No account, no servers, nothing sent to us. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data? Go to Settings → Start over. This wipes your answers, check-ins and plan. Deleting the app also removes everything. Your purchase stays with your store account, so you can restore it.

Can I move my check-ins to a new phone? Not in this version. Your purchase moves with your store account, but your check-ins and plan stay on the old phone. Your phone's own backup may bring them across, depending on your settings.

Your times

How do I change my wake time? Go to Settings → Your wake time. Everything else in your plan is timed from it, so try to keep it the same every day.

Why can't I just pick my bedtime? Your sleep hours start close to how much you actually sleep. As your check-ins show your sleep getting more solid, your plan gives you more time in bed. That's how the method works, so your bedtime moves with your check-ins.

I've changed time zone. The app follows your phone's clock. Open the app after you land and your times will follow. The guide "Crossing time zones" has steps for the first few days.

How do I turn reminders on or off? Go to Settings → Gentle reminders. If they don't show, check that notifications for Fourteen Nights are allowed in your phone's settings.

Shift work

My shifts change from week to week. When your shifts change, tap This week I'm on on the Tonight screen and choose your shift. Your wake time, main sleep, routine and reminders change with it. Main sleep means the hours you protect for sleep every day of the rota.

How do I change my shift times? Go to Settings → Your rota. Set your times for day shifts and days off, and for night shifts.

Health and safety

Is this medical advice? No. Fourteen Nights is a wellness guide based on published sleep research. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If sleep is seriously affecting your health or safety, please see a doctor.

When should I see a doctor? If you snore loudly, stop breathing or gasp in your sleep, fall asleep in the day without meaning to, or your sleep is affecting your mood or safety. And before you start, if you're pregnant or have epilepsy, seizures or bipolar disorder.

I feel sleepy in the day. That can happen in the first week. Please don't drive or do anything risky while drowsy. If it doesn't ease, or you nod off without meaning to, talk to a doctor.
