Fourteen Nights terms of use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms are between you and Lewis King ("we", "us"). By using Fourteen Nights, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Who can use it
Fourteen Nights is for adults aged 18 and over.
2. A wellness guide, not medical care
Fourteen Nights is a wellness guide based on published sleep research. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it does not replace a doctor.
- Talk to a doctor if sleep is seriously affecting your health, mood or safety. Talk to one too if you snore loudly, stop breathing or gasp in your sleep, or fall asleep in the day without meaning to.
- Check with a doctor before you start if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, seizures or bipolar disorder, or take medicine that affects sleep. The app asks about some of these and changes your plan, but it can't know your full health.
- Don't drive or do anything risky while drowsy. Some steps in the plan can make you sleepier in the day for a while, especially in the first week.
- If you are in crisis or might harm yourself, call your local emergency number now.
You use the app's suggestions at your own choice and risk. Stop any step that makes you feel unwell.
3. Your first 7 nights and the full plan
- Your first 7 nights are free.
- After that, the parts you've set up stay free to use: your check-ins, routine, wind-down, situation guides and 14-night results.
- The full plan is a one-off purchase at the price shown in your app store. It is not a subscription. You pay once and you are not charged again.
- The full plan is linked to your Apple or Google account. You can restore it on another phone that uses the same store (App Store or Google Play) and the same account. A purchase on one store doesn't carry over to the other.
4. Payments and refunds
Apple or Google takes your payment, under their terms. We never see your payment details.
Refunds are handled by the store, not by us:
- App Store: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: ask Google through your Play order history or Google Play Help.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under consumer law where you live. This includes the UK, EU and Australian Consumer Law rights for digital content that is faulty or not as described.
5. Your data
Everything you enter stays on your phone. See our Privacy Policy. If you delete the app or use Start over, your data is gone, and we can't get it back for you.
6. Using the app fairly
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as the store's rules allow. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law. The app, its words, pictures and design belong to us or our licensors.
7. Changes and availability
We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop offering it. If we stop offering it, the version on your phone will keep working as long as your phone runs it. We'll never take away a full plan you've paid for in an update.
8. Our responsibility
We work hard to make the app accurate and useful, but sleep is personal and we can't promise any result. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", and we aren't liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
We do not limit liability where the law says we can't. This includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
9. Apple App Store users
If you got the app from the App Store:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple has no duty to provide support or maintenance for the app.
- If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the price you paid. Apple has no other warranty duty for the app, as far as the law allows.
- Apple is not responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability, failure to meet legal rules, consumer protection, privacy or intellectual property claims. We handle these.
- You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo, and you are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
- You must also follow the App Store's own terms when you use the app.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / STATE]. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
